Please follow the instructions in attached README.txt file (unpack downloaded module and README.txt should be there).
If you're setting up the CKEditor module for the first time, the following screencasts created by compujohnny might be helpful:
Many users are confused after downloading CKEditor (the editor) from http://ckeditor.com web site when they notice that there is no README.txt. Don't worry, everything is fine. To install CKEditor in Drupal you need to download two files: CKEditor from http://ckeditor.com/download and CKEditor module from http://drupal.org/project/ckeditor (README.txt will be there).
Some instructions are also available in the administration section of CKEditor module (Administer -> Site configuration -> CKEditor).
Warning: if you can't find README.txt, then you've probably downloaded the wrong file.
Drupal 6.x
Below is the latest copy of README.txt, note that if you're using other version of CKEditor module than the latest dev release, this file may contain information that is not valid for your distribution, so it's always better to check README.txt attached to your module.
